We had a great dinner, followed by jello and cookies. In the cookies were 2 candles so that Embri could practice blowing them out. She learns quickly!
Saturday we ate pink pancakes after Embri blew out the candles. Then we got out of town. We went to Roanoke to visit Mill Mountain Park and see the big star of the Star City. Then we visited Uncle Rob and got a nice birthday meal followed by ice cream with chocolate syrup and a balloon. After that, we traveled to SML to visit with Nena, Grandpa, Great Granny, Nana and Pa. At 4:51pm, Embri turned 2. Then we had a yummy cookout with ice cream cake afterwards. It was a long day but we had a great time being together.
Sunday we went to Sunday School and then came home to get ready for the party. We had to sneak in a nap so we could be ready for the fun to come. We had so much fun with our friends and loved our Snoopy cake and all the cool presents.
