Mill Mountain Zoo, Roanoke, VA

We decided that we wanted to do something fun and different today.  Granny came with us as we took off west and headed to the Star City to visit the zoo:  Mill Mountain Zoo.  We had a great time seeing the animals, riding the train, enjoying a picnic lunch and then doing a little shopping.

Fixing the bed

Embri advised us yesterday that she wanted a bigger bed.  We didn't  know what she meant but we suggested to her that we would take the railing off the bed and give that a try to see if it would suffice.  She and Elaina were vital parts of the destruction.  They worked very hard.

Hairbows

Embri has learned how to put clips and all kinds of hairbows in her hair.  She is the quite the stylist!

What an incredible week we had at VBS!  We learned so much about gratitude, compassion, forgiveness, grace and faithfulness.
