VA Beach 2010

We enjoyed our time at VA Beach.  We hope you enjoy seeing these pictures from our vacation.  We saw dolphins every morning but didn't get any pictures of them.  They were just beyond the breakers.  They were beautiful and such a treat to see.

MONDAY we got to VA Beach in 6 hours which was 2 hours shy of what we thought and 2 hours longer than the time it used to take us to get there.  We were happy with that. The girls were so so good the whole day that we all were treated to Hershey's icecream.  YUM!!

TUESDAY we got up and went for a walk after breakfast.  Then we visited the beach and the pool.  Embri loved the ocean and the pool but Elaina preferred the pool as it wasn't as active nor as cold.  Daddy flew a kite for us in the late evening and we loved it!

WEDNESDAY we took another walk in the morning and then had fun at the beach and pool that afternoon and evening.  After dinner, we went to the beach for family pictures where Mommy and Daddy met 5 years ago.

THURSDAY Daddy competed with a team from Campbell County in technical rescue.  They did great and won 1st place!  Mommy and Daddy went for a bike ride on the boardwalk.  Then after that we played on the balls, in the sand, on the slide and walked on the boardwalk.  Mommy and Daddy celebrated their 4th wedding anniversary.

FRIDAY we went to the VA Beach Aquarium.  OH what fun we had!  It was a wonderful time and we learned so much.  We even got to feel sting rays and other creatures.  Mommy and Daddy went for another bike ride through the Neptune Festival.  Then we went back to the pool.

SATURDAY we walked the boardwalk for the Neptune Festival.  We saw some amazing talent displayed by incredible artists from all over the world in their sand sculpting.
