A TRUE "Kodak moment"

Happy 18 month birthday to our  BIG GIRL!  We love you.

Embri is very independent now.  Mommy was getting ingredients out of the refrigerator for a recipe and Embri wanted to get the Cool Whip out.  Mommy decided that it wasn't worth the fit that could potentially follow to take the Cool Whip away from Embri, and besides, it was sealed and had never been opened.  There's no way that she could open the plastic seal.  Embri kept saying "open" but Mommy said that we weren't going to open it because it would make a mess.  A few minutes later, Embri said "trash" and put the wrapper in the trash can.  Embri then continued to play with the container until I heard a voice coming from between my feet saying "mess".  Sure enough it was a mess.  Our independent 18 month-old figured out the Cool Whip container.  She thought it was yogurt but soon found out that it was sweeter and tasted yummy with strawberry pie.  We laughed together and sat on the floor eating pie and Cool Whip before we washed the rest of the Cool Whip away.  Thankfully, the camera was around the corner.
